Job Description - Associate - Real Estate (mid-level)

Midlevel Real Estate Associate

Location: San Francisco | Compensation: $260,000–$390,000 base + discretionary bonus

Our AmLaw 100 client is seeking a midlevel associate to join its Real Estate & Land Use and Energy practice in San Francisco. This is a strong platform for attorneys looking to handle high-stakes real estate financings and renewable energy transactions within a nationally recognized team.

The Role

This associate will work across complex real estate transactions, with a focus on project development and energy infrastructure. Expect direct involvement in acquisition, disposition, leasing, financing, and construction matters, as well as renewable energy deals. Cross-office collaboration and mentorship are part of the practice’s DNA.

What We’re Looking For

3–6 years of transactional real estate experience, ideally with energy or infrastructure exposure
Strong academic credentials and drafting skills
Commercial mindset and ability to handle client-facing responsibility
Motivated by both team-driven and independent work
