Summary/Objective
The Associate Relations Leader supervises all contingent MAU associate HR functions, focusing on facility onboarding, payroll, performance, counseling, and attendance tracking to achieve a positive associate experience and meet customer expectations for contingent staffing.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Night shift, 7:30 PM – 6:10 AM. Additional hours may be needed occasionally.
Essential Functions
- Champion and actively promote a culture of workplace safety.
- Oversee and manage standard work procedures and daily operations.
- Accurately process, verify, and maintain comprehensive employee records, including attendance, investigations, performance reports, and termination documentation.
- Utilize logical and strategic problem-solving methods to identify and resolve workplace issues.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline work processes.
- Develop, track, and administer all Corrective Action documentation with accuracy and consistency.
- Encourage innovation by exploring new methods within established guidelines.
- Support new initiatives by maintaining a solution-focused, results-driven mindset.
- Demonstrate adaptability, creativity, fairness, discretion, and trustworthiness in all interactions.
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and care.
- Maintain consistent communication with Section Leaders and Managers.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including associates, clients, and team members.
- Apply active listening, critical questioning, motivation, influence, and sound decision-making skills to assess risks and seek guidance when necessary.
- Plan and execute activities that enhance associate and client engagement, such as regular check-ins and proactive feedback collection.
- Facilitate new hire orientations, clearly explaining company policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Effectively communicate company policies, their relevance, and the importance of compliance.
- Participate in daily shift start-ups and production meetings.
- Dedicate approximately 80% of time to associate and client engagement.
- Provide on-site support to colleagues, promoting continuous improvement and development.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma/GED with 2 - 5+ years of supervisory/leadership experience

- Root cause analysis training (5 Whys, Fishbone, etc)

Work Environment or Working Conditions
The working conditions and environments are created by our customers’ facilities both in administrative areas and manufacturing environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Customer sites sometimes include process manufacturing equipment and heavy power industrial vehicles. Environments may vary from non-temperature-controlled environments to GMP clean room required.
Physical Demands
This position may require the following to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Ability to lift 5- 20lbs periodically and 50lbs on occasion
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours
- Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day
Travel
This position requires up to 5% travel.
