Scientist, Purification Process Development based in Oceanside, CA.

Seeking an Associate
Scientist to support purification process development, characterization,
scale-up, and technology transfer for biologics in pivotal and commercial
development. The role involves hands-on laboratory work, process
optimization, GMP manufacturing support, and collaboration with internal and
external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Design
  and execute purification process development and characterization studies.
  
• Perform
  laboratory-scale purification experiments and analyze experimental data.
  
• Support
  process scale-up, technology transfer, and implementation at
  internal and external GMP manufacturing facilities.
  
• Develop
  and document experimental protocols, reports, and electronic laboratory
  records.
  
• Provide
  technical support for manufacturing investigations and atypical events.
  
• Support
  purification platform development and evaluation of new technologies.
  
• Mentor
  junior team members on purification strategies, experimental design, and
  process transfer.
  
• Collaborate
  cross-functionally with Process Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and
  external partners.
  
• Maintain
  laboratory operations, equipment, compliance, safety, and data integrity
  standards.
  

Required Qualifications

• MS
  + 2 years or BS + 4 years of relevant experience in Chemical Engineering,
  Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or related discipline.
  
• Strong
  hands-on experience with biologics purification process development.
