Compensation

• Salary: $123,000 – $170,000 (anticipated base annual salary)

Position Summary

You will bring exceptional technical leadership, support and mentoring to the wider team with a commitment to project delivery and commercial performance.

Primary Functions

• Set a strong example of client care and general consultancy and support the regional team to do the same.


• Represent Our Client at design team meetings, both internally and externally, providing project leadership and taking responsibility for sustained and productive client relationships across the region.


• Work will include conducting site observations, participating in site meetings and responding directly to contractor queries in the field.


• Lead the analysis and design of structural systems for a wide range of building types in accordance with applicable building codes.


• Manage and mentor engineering and drafting staff whilst overseeing the preparation of contract documents, including drawings and specifications.


• Participate in project technical/quality reviews


• Further the reputation of Our Client's structural engineering as the best in class across a range of size and project types in region.


• Represent Our Client externally by engaging in local industry groups and events that align with the local Structures team’s goals.

Must-Haves

• 10+ years of significant experience leading structural engineering projects or teams across a variety of sectors


• Experience leading structural engineering projects during construction phase.


• Master’s Degree


• Licensed as PE and / or SE


• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders including senior management, clients, and company-wide staff


• Confident, proactive character, with a track record of taking the lead


• Proven track record of client relationship management and project delivery


• Strong interest in work-winning
