Position Summary
We’re hiring an Associate Underwriter with experience in personal lines insurance to support our high-volume underwriting team. This role is hybrid, with the flexibility to work remotely while participating in regular in-office collaboration.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and confident working in a fast-paced environment where accurate, same-day quote turnaround is the standard. This is a great fit for someone with prior agency or carrier experience who enjoys problem-solving and supporting retail agents with non-standard risk placements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process personal lines renewals, endorsements and inspections workflows including HO3, HO6, DP1/3, and scheduled personal property.


• Issue quotes within underwriting authority or escalate for review as needed.


• Communicate clearly with agents regarding renewals, endorsements, submissions, coverage options, and inspections questions.


• Maintain complete and accurate documentation in our underwriting system.


• Deliver service that consistently meets our 24-hour quote turnaround goal.


• Collaborate with other team members.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in personal lines insurance underwriting or agency production


• Knowledge of E&S or non-admitted products strongly preferred


• Active P&C license preferred


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with industry rating or policy systems a plus


• Reliable, detail-focused, and comfortable managing competing priorities
