Mahoning Valley Veterinary Centre in Mineral Ridge, OH is a privately owned, AAHA-accredited practice looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our awesome team. We're open to both full-time and part-time schedules and would love to find someone who enjoys practicing good medicine in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Whether you're a newer graduate looking for guidance and mentorship or an experienced veterinarian who wants to have full autonomy working in a private practice setting,  MVVC is the ideal environment to practice medicine the way you want with quality support.

A little about the hospital:

We've recently completed a multi-million dollar expansion, growing the facility from 1,400 to 4,400 square feet. The hospital has multiple surgery and dental suites, modern equipment, and a 4:1 staff-to-doctor ratio, so you have plenty of support throughout the day.

Some of the technology and equipment you'll have at your fingertips includes:

• VetScalpel CO2 laser for surgical procedures.


• Digital radiology and dental X-ray.


• Ultrasound and a fully equipped in-house laboratory.


• Advanced anesthesia monitoring and patient monitoring equipment.


• Therapeutic laser for pain management and recovery.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary 120-145K + Production. (Typical annual earnings in the 150-185 range)

A little about the area:

Mineral Ridge is conveniently located in the Youngstown-Warren area of Northeast Ohio. Mill Creek Park alone offers more than 2,600 acres of trails, outdoor activities, and beautiful scenery. You'll also find plenty of restaurants, shopping, concerts, hockey games, farmers markets, and local entertainment. Pittsburgh and Akron are both within driving distance, making it easy to enjoy a bigger city when you want one.

What we're looking for:

• DVM or VMD from an accredited veterinary school.


• An active Ohio veterinary license prior to employment (we help with licensing costs).


• Someone who enjoys working with a team and providing great care to patients and clients.
