Associate Veterinarian – Emergency Medicine

Position Overview

Seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to provide emergency medical and surgical care for small animals in a dedicated emergency hospital. The role offers a collaborative, fast-paced environment with exposure to a wide variety of emergency cases. Both experienced and early-career veterinarians are encouraged to apply.

Practice Overview

  • Emergency-only small animal practice
  • Average caseload: 10–15 patients per doctor daily
  • Approximately 3:1 technician-to-doctor support ratio
  • Caseload includes emergency medicine and surgery
  • Collaborative and supportive team culture
  • Modern facilities equipped with:
    • Digital radiography
    • Ultrasound
    • In-house laboratory
    • Dental suite
    • Surgical suite

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual salary: $130,000–$150,000, plus production bonus
  • Sign-on bonus of up to $100,000 (with applicable commitment)

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat emergency medical and surgical cases

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
  • Eligible for veterinary licensure

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
