Description Assistant Director of Operations Job Description
Role Summary:
The Assistant Director of Operations is responsible for proper execution of all operations. The DOO has a strong shift awareness and ability to make sound adjustments to ensure Team Members are providing genuine hospitality, great tasting food, fast and accurate service, all in a clean and safe environment.
Job Description:
· Ensures overall satisfaction, order accuracy, speed of service, cleanliness, productivity, and quality of product are kept in accordance with organization goals
. Monitors and manages labor percentage
· Monitors daily responsibilities to appropriate team members and follows up to ensure tasks are completed
· Holds team members accountable to all Chick-Fil-A standards, policies and procedures; ensures fair disciplinary action
· Verifies safety protocols are followed when opening and closing the restaurant
· Learn to create Shift Set-Ups by positioning Team Members according to their strengths and abilities. Demonstrate a flexible mindset when changes need to be made. Take Team Member requests into consideration and respond appropriately and fairly.
· Oversee the maintained success of Front Counter and Drive-Thru Operations throughout the day.
· Ensure Food Safety Requirements are met in all positions, tasks, and assignments.
· Set an example for Team members by Practicing open, honest, and direct communication.
· Oversee Cash Management and Flow throughout the day, including closing shifts and counting drawers.
· Lead Team Members through Opening and or Closing
· Assists with leadership development of all team members
Job Type:

· Hourly $21+

Schedule:
· 32+ hours week average (full time)
· Approximately 95% schedule operationally in the business; 5% administrative responsibilities
· Available to work 5:30AM. to 10:00 p.m, Monday through Saturday
· Never work a Sunday Again
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Specific Experience:
· Age Requirement: 21+
· Required: Proficient in cash handling
· Preferred: Management/ Supervisory Experience of 10 or more employees
· Required: Excellent People and Communication Skills
· Required: Team Player
· Preferred: Restaurant Management Experience of 2+ years
· Recommended: High School Degree or equivalent
. Preferred: Writing and tracking staff labor and scheduling
. Preferred: Ordering and overseeing inventory control
. Preferred: Serve Safe Certification

· Demonstrate an ability to anticipate and fulfill the needs of the restaurant on an hour-to-hour basis.
· Successfully motivate and encourage the team through the shift.
· Learn to adapt to changes in a way that matches Chick-fil-A brand standards and serves both guests and the business.
