Assistant Vice Chancellor of Strategic Planning & Policy, Academic & Student Affairs (01069) SES Position

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in higher education, public administration, business administration, or a related field


• Minimum of eight years of experience at a state/system level higher education office or university/college in administration, policy implementation, or strategic planning


• Experience at a state-level organization that works with education entities will also satisfy


• Experience supervising multiple professional staff


• Experience presenting to external stakeholders, legislature, and/or executive boards

Preferred Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute major projects promptly with key deliverables. 


• Effective organizational skills and problem-solving techniques. 


• Ability and skill in communicating effectively verbally and in writing; critical thinking and analysis; motivating, developing, and directing staff; editing and revising written documents and PowerPoints for a variety of audiences. 


• Experience facilitating workgroups.

Hiring Range
Salary range $115,000 - $140,000 based on qualifications and experience.
