Athletic Supervisor Assistant - Full Time

NOW HIRING:   Athletic Supervisor Assistant   (full-time)

JOB SUMMARY: The Assistant Athletic Supervisor is a responsible, outgoing, and organized person who handles the coordination, implementation, and administration of youth athletic programs, activities, and events.  Additionally, this full time position will assist in supervising the general athletic programs, scheduling field rentals, and working with outside athletic organizations as well as scheduling part time athletic staff and preparing brochure copy, flyers and newsletters. Flexible hours are required during the afternoon and evening and may include weekends and some holidays.

LOCATION:  Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center, 8125 W. 171st St, Tinley Park

QUALIFICATIONS:   A Bachelor’s Degree in Parks and Recreation Administration, Physical Education, or related field is required.  Minimum of two years of experience in athletic programming is preferred.  Certified Parks and Recreation Professional highly recommended.  Valid driver’s license required.  Current CPR/first aid certification or ability to gain CPR certification is required.

INCENTIVES:  This full-time position requires flexibility to work during the afternoon and evening hours and may include weekends and some holidays.  Salary range begins at $46,000/annually.
