As a Groomer at Skiptown, you will:

• 
  

  Perform full grooms, baths, trims, and breed-specific cuts with expert technique

  
  


• 
  

  Manage client appointment details using Skiptown’s tech tools—documenting before/after photos, notes, and timing

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate with the support team to adjust schedules, flag special needs, and keep everything on track

  
  


• 
  

  Recommend the right services based on coat condition and pet parent goals

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a clean, safe, and professional grooming space at all times

  
  


• 
  

  Deliver exceptional experiences that leave both pups and pup parents excited to come back

  
  

Compensation & Full Time Benefits:

  Commission: 50% of Full Grooms + 30% of Add-Ons

You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:

  At least 1 year of professional grooming experience

  
  


• 
  

  Your own grooming tools (clippers, shears, brushes, etc.)

  
  


• 
  

  Confidence with scissoring and clipper techniques

  
  


• 
  

  Reliability, great time management, and a positive attitude

  
  


• 
  

  (Bonus!) Experience coaching or mentoring other groomers

  
  

Physical Requirements:

• 
  

  Able to lift up to 50 lbs and pull up to 140 lbs

  
  


• 
  

  Capable of repetitive motions (brushing, drying, etc.) and kneeling/bending

  
  


• 
  

  Comfortable standing and walking up to 8 hours/day
