Pay: $130,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year

Location: Dallas, TX. This is a flexible hybrid opportunity combining remote work with collaborative time in our Dallas office.

Note: Candidates must have 3+ years of directly relevant insurance coverage experience, ideally including first-party property coverage matters. A writing sample is required, and professional references may be requested during the interview process.

Job Description

  • Analyze insurance policies and complex first-party property coverage issues
  • Handle coverage matters from pre-suit analysis through litigation and resolution
  • Conduct and defend depositions and examinations under oath
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other persuasive legal documents
  • Develop litigation and coverage strategies in partnership with experienced attorneys and clients
  • Participate in mediations, negotiations, and other dispute-resolution proceedings
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding case developments, strategy, and coverage considerations
  • Manage multiple matters efficiently while responding effectively to time-sensitive issues

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of insurance coverage experience
  • Experience with first-party property coverage matters strongly preferred
  • Experience with policy analysis, examinations under oath, depositions, pleadings, motions, or mediations
  • Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management abilities
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Collaborative, team-first approach
  • Ability and willingness to provide a writing sample
