Audio Visual Engineer

The Opportunity:

Design, install, configure, and maintain complex AV and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems. Conduct site surveys, create technical drawings, commission new systems, program equipment, and troubleshoot Tier III issues. Create engineered drawings, specifications, and reports for AV and VTC systems, ensuring compliance with and integration into larger network infrastructures. Install, configure, and maintain AV hardware, including projectors, speakers, and control systems such as Extron and Cisco. Diagnose and resolve complex, Tier III multimedia and data cabling issues. Monitor and support high-visibility VTC events, including managing Microsoft Teams Live events. Work with clients, vendors, and project teams to define requirements and implement solutions.

You Have:

• 6+ years of experience with AV/VTC solutions, including design, installation, and maintenance
• Experience using Microsoft Teams Rooms and AVoIP
• Experience with AV/VTC systems, control system programming, and network integration
• HS diploma or GED

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
