Position Overview:

The Audiologist will provide hearing assessments, device fittings, and counseling for residents with hearing impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen and evaluate hearing loss.
• Fit and maintain hearing aids.
• Provide counseling and education to residents and staff.
• Conduct at least two in-service trainings per year.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Active NYS Audiology License
• Experience: Clinical audiology (SNF setting preferred)
• Technical Skills:
• Hearing aid fitting/programming
• Diagnostic audiometry
• Soft Skills: Patient education, interdisciplinary collaboration
