Job Description - Audiologist - Eastern Kentucky

Who We Are:

Kentucky Hearing Aids is an independent, locally owned clinic passionate about helping our patients hear better. From comprehensive evaluations to custom hearing aid fittings, our staff combines years of experience with state-of-the-art technology to find the best solution for you.

We have several locations, which include: Lexington, Mount Sterling and Versailles. We are looking for a candidate in the Eastern KY area. The ideal candidate would be flexible to work in any of the locations mentioned. There would be a central location depending on where the provider currently resides. The position is full time Monday – Friday – 9AM – 5PM.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking an exceptional Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our patient-focused team. Our well-known, established practice has been in the community for many years. We will consider expanding our services, given the interests of our new provider (Pediatrics/Vestibular, community outreach, etc.).

What You’ll Do:



  • Provide diagnostic audiologic evaluations


  • Develop treatment plans and make recommendations and establish realistic expectations with patient’s needs.


  • Hearing aid evaluations, fittings, follow ups, and troubleshooting with a variety of hearing aid manufacturers.


  • Maintain all clinical records and reports congruent with clinic protocols and standards, including HIPAA.


  • Stay up to date on changes in the field of audiology.


  • Adherence to company policies and procedures

What You’ll Need:


  • Au.D. preferred, a master’s degree in Audiology acceptable, a Hearing Instrument Specialist.

  • KY state license or ability to acquire.

  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills with a flexible attitude

  • The ability to work and contribute to a team environment.

  • Strong compassion, care, and respect for patients
