Job Description:
ManageIT Infrastructure Network & Systems, people, supervision, scheduling,development, evaluation, and local team.
Responsiblefor industrial network competence, virtualization, monitoring &management systems, wireless and endpoint configuration, design, andmanagement.
Competenceto evaluate requirements for new infrastructure technologies, services, orinfrastructure components.
Implementan approach of addressing reliability, security, performance, andinfrastructure best practices.
Manage,deliver, and own know-how and understanding of inter-system protocols (SQLConnections, RPC, Web Services) and capability to guide, troubleshoot andisolate issues.
Strongmanagement skills and demonstrated ability to marshal resources andtechnologies; communication, scheduling, and implementation to managelarge- and medium-scale projects.
Managepriorities and minimize downtime, plan maintenance and upgrades, OSpatching, and automated configuration changes.
Mentorteam members in technology and network operation, in management ofprocedures, and SOPs and act as an escalation point for complex issues.
Collaboratewith internal and external engineers, Managed Service Providers (MSPs),and IT vendors to ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.
Strongleadership and team management skills.
Skillsand Qualifications
oEngineering degreeand certification in Project management, Information Technology, Softwareengineering, or related discipline is preferred.
oMinimum eight (8)years of technology infrastructure management, management of people andfunction. Project management experience.
Competentin Infrastructure Systems - VMWare technologies, vCenter, vShpere, Windowstechnologies, ADFS and Group Policies.
Strongexperience in Infrastructure Networks, switching concepts, spanning trees,VLAN concepts, and interior and exterior protocols. Experience withSD-Wan, concepts and capabilities.
WAN,Firewall concepts and architectures, IPS as well as remote access methods.
Cybersecuritypractices and technologies, 3rd party security providers.
Provenexperience in configuring and managing network infrastructure and securitysolutions, including Palo Alto, Cisco, Meraki, Zscaler and Fortinet.
Stronganalytical, organizational, decision making, and problem solving skillswith focus on the best need for the business and cost containment.
Abilityto work well and communicate, especially under pressure.
Ciscoor equivalent certifications. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)or Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) certification is preferred.
Strongproblem solving skills with client focus and methodical approach totroubleshooting.
