Auto Body Estimator in Training

Steve Moyer Collision Center is currently looking for an Estimator in Training.  As an Estimator in Training, you will collaborate with the team to achieve customer satisfaction and focus on administrative tasks that support the repair process.  You will learn to lead customers through the process of getting their vehicle repaired after an accident.  You will communicate with the customer, insurance company and parts coordinator to ensure a smooth transaction.

Responsibilities:

• Create estimates and communicate with customers regarding vehicle repair needs, cost and expected turn-around times


• Manage customer relations and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and follow-up


• Provide data entry, filing, and administrative support for operations


• Assess parts and services to resolve discrepancy and take corrective actions wherever applicable


• Utilize estimating systems, spreadsheets, databases, and provide detailed documentation


• Process documentation and orders for billing, invoicing, and collections

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required


• Effective verbal and written communication skills


• Knowledge of automotive repair parts and systems


• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment


• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks


• Possession of valid driver’s license and clean driving record


• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
