Auto Body Technician Apprentice
We are looking for a motivated Auto Body Technician Apprentice to join our collision repair team and begin building a successful career in the automotive industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn hands-on collision repair skills while working alongside experienced technicians in a professional shop environment. Rohrman Auto provides the tools, mentorship, and training needed to help you grow into a successful body technician.
Responsibilities
Assist Auto Body Technicians with vehicle disassembly and reassembly.
Learn basic collision repair techniques including sanding, masking, panel preparation, and minor repairs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and workstations.
Assist with moving vehicles and preparing vehicles for repair and delivery.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Learn to properly use body shop tools and equipment.
Participate in manufacturer and in-house training programs.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Requirements
Strong interest in automotive collision repair and willingness to learn.
Previous automotive or shop experience is a plus, but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliable attendance.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work with tools throughout the day.
