Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Transmission Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing automatic and manual transmissions, ensuring vehicles run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose transmission issues and perform repairs, rebuilds or replacements as necessary.


• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on transmission systems.


• Collaborate with service advisors to communicate findings and repair options to customers.


• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.


• Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements related to transmission systems.


• Ensure a safe and clean working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in automotive repair preferred.


• Proven experience as a transmission technician or in a related role.


• Strong knowledge of automatic and manual transmission systems.


• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.


• ASE certification in transmission repair is a plus.
