Job Description - Auto Glass Installer/Technician

Our company is growing and we are searching for Auto glass technicians to repair/replace windshields and/or various other windows in a wide variety of vehicles. They may also be involved in the calibration of ADAS systems. We are hiring for in-shop technicians and mobile technicians. Here at Simbol Auto Glass, we are hiring both experienced technicians and trainees willing to learn the trade.

Minimum requirements:

Prior experience is preferred in auto glass repair/replacement on all types of vehicles.

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with management, co-workers, and customers

Understands a commitment of high quality service to all customers

Physical requirements:

Be able to stand for long periods of time

Must be able to frequently lift over 25 pounds

Requires motion entailing bending, twisting, pulling, and pushing

Duties and Responsibilities:

Examine vehicles for any damages prior to performing any type of work on the vehicle

Inspect all new glass for any flaws before performing any work on the vehicle

Using proper techniques to remove damaged glass without causing additional damage to vehicle

Use of proper techniques to install glass

Handle glass in a safe and professional manner

Effectively communicate with customers

Other duties as assigned by the shop manager

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
