Glass Plus Inc. Trainee Position
We are looking to fill our Glass Plus Trainee position with a qualified individual. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work and interact with a team of glass technicians, the ability to work with tools, lift 75 pounds, and focus on providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Learn all facets of automotive glass installations for commercial vehicles
- Learn how to operate a variety of tools as required to service automotive glass parts
- The training program lasts 1-3 months depending on how quickly the trainee learns the skills needed to be successful in the position of auto glass technician
- All work must be completed to company standards with a focus on exceeding customer expectations
- Ability to cover after-hours jobs when needed and work on Saturday when scheduled
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Present a professional appearance
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Maintain an exceptional driving record
Qualifications
- Experience working with tools is required
- Trade school training a plus
- Willing to travel to customer locations to complete work assignments. The company covers the metro Atlanta market and somedays the travel can be extensive.
- Must display a sense of urgency when responding to customer service needs while maintaining a focus on safety
- Previous knowledge on removing and installing automotive glass preferred
- Pass a background check, drug test, and have a clean motor vehicle record with the state of Georgia is required
- Comfortable working outside in a variety of weather conditions
