Porcelli’s Auto Body is a family owned business providing customers with top-quality collision repair services for over 30 years and employees with a friendly workplace environment with competitive salary and benefits packages.
We are seeking a reliable and experienced full-time Auto Body Technician to join our team.
Must have prior experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience, OEM training, and I-Car and ACE certifications.
Wage and sign-on bonus based on experience.
Skills and experience in the following areas are required:
- Door Skins
- Quarter Panel Replacements
- Assembly and Disassembly
- Realigning Car Frames and chassis to repair structural damage
- Hammer out or patch dents, dimples and other minor body damage
- Welding
- Grind, sand, buff and prime refurbished and repaired surfaces
Job Requirements
- Great team work- our shop is built on teamwork!
- Performing a meticulous disassembly and prepare a repair plan for each vehicle in a timely fashion.
- Ensure all needed repairs are properly identified to eliminate supplements and minimize cycle time.
- Ensure that repairs are completed swiftly, to the highest standard of quality, and in a safe manner.
- Participates in all required staff meetings daily and ongoing training as assigned.
- Operate a variety of highline specialty tools (e.g. mig and pulse welders, self-piercing riveting guns, aluminum and steel dent fix stations etc.)
- Comply with all safety rules, OEM guidelines and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, including cleanliness of workspace.

From humble beginnings as an automotive tech in 1974, Richard understands the way automobiles work and uses that knowledge to make the best choices about how to serve his customers. Richard personally holds multiple automotive certifications including I-Car, ASC, and certifications from GM. As a well known family business owner Richard is deeply committed to investing in the community in which he grew up. He's shown this dedication by being one of only a handful of automotive organizations to invest in the environmentally safe Green Safe, water based paints. To give back to his community Richard serves on the N.E. Tech Advisory Board, is a member of the Lions and Elks Clubs. Over the years has served as a mentor to many young individuals hoping to start a career in the automotive business.
In addition to being a devoted husband of 35 years to his wife Rosemary, he is the proud Father, Grandfather and Father in law of his two children Heather and Richard Jr. his two grandsons, Grant and Carter, and son-in-law James.
