POSITION SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of an Automated gate installer is to install, troubleshoot, and service automated gate systems.

All the responsibilities we will trust you with:

• Perform new gate operator and related and related access control system installations

• Troubleshoot various gate operator equipment/manufacturers

• SMA (stick) welding when necessary

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Work with the team to ensure branch success and provide excellent customer service

• Other duties as required by business needs or as assigned

• Attend manufacturer and industry training seminars as requested

Field welding, electrical, concrete, trenching, digging, use of power tools, machinery, etc., a plus

• 1+ year experience in installing both commercial and residential fences preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of basic electrical concepts
• Ability to identify and implement the automation controls sequence of operation for customers
• Ability to read architectural shop drawings.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Ability to read and write and perform basic mathematic functions
• Must be able to work outdoors in all conditions

EDUCATION/TRAINING

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree
• Obtain AFA CGAT and CGAD within 12 months of the hire date at the company’s expense if necessary.
