Automated Grinder - 2nd Shift

Description

Operate the Maus SAM 600 automatic grinding machine to ensure product conforms to dimensional requirements as set forth by customer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operation of Maus SAM 600 automatic grinding machine.
• Examine and quarantine defective parts.
• Perform additional grinding operations the Maus machine is unable to complete.
• Arrange, handle, load, and unload material.
• Assist programmer with machine setup and calibration in conjunction with the Engineering Department.
• Daily perform preventative maintenance on equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and protecting the equipment as required.

Requirements

Math (Decimals, Fractions); Reading (Interpretation of blueprints); Writing (Recording information on sample inspection documentation).
