Job Description - Automated Grinder / Machine Operator

Full-time

Description

Operate the Maus SAM 600 automatic grinding machine to ensure product conforms to dimensional requirements as set forth by customer.

Job Responsibilities:

Operation of Maus SAM 600 automatic grinding machine.
Examine and quarantine defective parts.
Perform additional grinding operations the Maus machine is unable to complete.
Arrange, handle, load, and unload material.
Assist programmer with machine setup and calibration in conjunction with the Engineering Department.
Daily perform preventative maintenance on equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and protecting the equipment as required.

Requirements

Math (Decimals, Fractions); Reading (Interpretation of blueprints); Writing (Recording information on sample inspection documentation).
