Key Responsibilities
- Build, wire, and troubleshoot automated equipment
- Programming and modifying PLCs and HMIs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
- Support robotic systems including setup and troubleshooting
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical issues quickly
- Work with engineering and maintenance to improve system performance
- Lead or support automation projects from concept through startup
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes
- Assist with upgrades, retrofits, and continuous improvement efforts
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands-on automation or controls experience
- Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot systems
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Degree or technical training in automation, mechatronics, or similar is a plus not required
