The Opportunity:
Are you searching for a position where you can use your scripting skills to automatically configure systems?System administrators are confronted with many cybersecurity challenges to include limited resources.To manage that complexity, you need to automate tasks to not only effectively meet program objectives but to ensure the repeatability of system administration actions.That's why we need you, an automation engineer, who can help ensure success through reliable scripting techniques .
On our team, you will perform system automation functions to include the design, implementation, and testing of developed system scripts in support of a military system.You will work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify areas of development and execute on those using tools, including Bash.The real power of system automation is performing system administration activities to meet cybersecurity standards in through a repeatable and auditable approach.

You have:
Experience with Linux administration and hardening of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

Experience with writing Bash scripting for system automation

Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree in EE

Nice If You Have:
Experience with ACAS and STIG tools

Experience with PXE boot

Experience with penetration testing targeting Linux systems

TS/SCI clearance

OSCP Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
