Arctic Cat is now hiring an Automation Technician for setup and maintenance of our robotic and autonomous systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Integrate electrical and mechanical systems in the construction of new automation equipment.
Specify the purchase of material used to construct new equipment and to maintain established automation from a list of approved suppliers.
Maintain safety systems.
Maintain equipment to assure maximum productivity or “uptime” including performing mechanical and electrical repairs during production and non-production time.
Recognize and repair defective or worn out parts on production equipment.
Troubleshoot and modify existing facility equipment including mechanical and electrical functions of 24volts and lower.
Perform and document preventative maintenance on automation equipment.
Conduct minor plant maintenance when assigned.
Requirements
Education: Mechanical and/ or Electronic technical or vocational trade school required
Years of Experience: 0+ years of experience
Technical Knowledge: Pneumatics and controls knowledge
Able to develop new Program Logic Controller (PLC) programs to accomplish the required tasks. (Ladder Logic on multiple brands.)
Good communication skills – must be able to give good, clear instructions to others – as well as working toward completion on time & budget.
