Pay based on experience starting at $40/hr.
1st Shift Hours- 6:00AM-2:30PM Mon-Fri

- PLC's - You understand them, can program, troubleshoot and diagnose issues with them.
- You're a leader who can provide technical support to other technicians in the facility.
- You can use the correct tools, (DVM, multimeter, software and custom cables) to identify root cause of electrical issues in the facility.
- You know how to read and interpret schematics and user manuals.
- You can troubleshoot process issues with automation software,
- You can troubleshoot hardware, issues with PLCs and touch screens.
- You can maintain and perform PMs according to schedule.
- You use advanced network troubleshooting to diagnose control networking issues
- You work well as a team with IT to troubleshoot and maintain automation servers.
- If there isn't a user manual and training documentation, you will be able to create it, organize it and manage it.

The Automation Technician for Maintenance provides day-to-day electronic, electrical, and mechanical support for the Aurora manufacturing facility. The role of this position is to be a technical resource for solving maintenance reliability issues and provide some project management for projects supported by the maintenance department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, responding appropriately to changing priorities.
- Respectfully interact with a diverse group of people.
- Adhere to safe work practices, complete monthly safety audits/observations, follow GMP’s, maintain clean conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect safety.
- Effectively communicate the status of issues and projects with management, vendors, peers and production personnel.
- Provide technical leadership and support for electrical and instrumentation technicians at the facility.
- Use the appropriate tools (e.g. dvm, multimeter, software, custom cables) to troubleshoot and diagnose the root cause of issues in the facility.
- Maintain and perform equipment according to PM and schedule.

- Automation Technician must have 5-8 years of related manufacturing automation experience.
- Computer literate and able to use MS Word and Excel
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Must demonstrate ability to problem solve and multi-task.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
