Automotive Accountant

Job Overview: The Automotive Accountant will be responsible for analyzing costs, maintaining cost accounting records, generating invoices, and managing vehicle title paperwork. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in title and billing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Competitive compensation is offered based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Accounting:

• Analyze costs associated with vehicle sales, service, and parts to ensure accuracy and efficiency.


• Maintain cost accounting records and reconcile accounts to ensure financial integrity.

Billing and Invoicing:

• Generate invoices for vehicle sales, service, and parts transactions accurately and promptly.


• Verify billing information, including pricing, discounts, and taxes, to ensure completeness and accuracy.


• Address customer inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.

Title Processing:

• Manage vehicle title paperwork and ensure compliance with state regulations and dealership policies.


• Process title applications accurately and submit them to the appropriate authorities in a timely manner.


• Track the status of title transfers and resolve any issues or delays as needed.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in title and billing.


• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.


• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
