Automotive Accounting Manager

Bob Boyte Chevy is seeking an experienced Automotive Accounting Manager to join our team in Biloxi, MS. The ideal candidate will oversee all accounting functions related to our automotive operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple accounting processes in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations of the dealership, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.


• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analyses to ensure accuracy and timely submission.


• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes and assist with audits as needed.


• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and government regulations.


• Collaborate with sales and service departments to reconcile financial discrepancies and support operational goals.


• Lead, train, and mentor the accounting team to improve skills and enhance productivity.


• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning specific to the automotive division.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.


• Proven experience in automotive accounting or dealership finance management.


• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.


• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.


• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
