The Automotive Accounting Clerk performs a wide range of administrative and office support duties associated with vehicle documentation, such as registrations, license plates, and other vehicle or owner information.
Automotive Accounting Clerk Job Responsibilities:
- Verify that funds have been collected before processing applications
- Process paperwork in a timely manner
- Maintain a complete list of all outstanding accounting work
- Stay abreast of county and state regulatory requirements
- Submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles
- Understand the importance of deadlines and the sense of urgency to complete tasks
- Assist customers with any questions regarding their registration and titling
- Performs other duties as assigned
Automotive Accounting Clerk Job Qualifications:
- At least TWO YEARS of experience in automotive dealership accounting and accounts payable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Capable of handling multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong administrative, organizational, and computer skills
