Automotive Accounting Specialist

Description of the Role:

As an Accounting Specialist at Mirak Automotive Group, you will play a vital role in our dynamic team. Responsibilities:

• Handle accounting tasks related to automotive operations


• Manage financial records and ensure accuracy and compliance


• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements


• Assist in monthly and year-end closing processes


• Collaborate with other departments to analyze financial data and provide insights

Exposure to work regarding:

• Receive and process F&I paperwork


• Account & Schedule reconciliations


• Dealer reserve statements and post funding


• Verify all required fields are accurate on F&I products, send letters with corrected copies for omitted information


• Process sales commissions for payment to sales associates


• Rebate and Incentive forms(verify program requirements)


• Process warranty cancellations


• Assist with month end close.


• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Prior experience in AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY REQUIRED


• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices


• Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel, DealerTrack DMS a plus.


• Attention to detail and excellent time management and analytical skills


• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
