About the Role
We are seeking an experienced In-House Sales Representative to support national sales growth for a well-established automotive lighting manufacturer and distributor. This hybrid role combines account management, sales analytics, pricing, forecasting, rep agency coordination, and customer-facing travel.
This is an ideal opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys a 50/50 blend of relationship-driven selling and data-driven strategy, including customer visits, trade shows, and executive-level reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow existing automotive aftermarket accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and SKU expansion
Act as the primary liaison for national sales rep agencies, setting expectations and driving accountability
Prepare annual pricing updates while protecting margin targets
Develop accurate sales forecasts, performance tracking, and trend analysis
Deliver monthly and quarterly sales reports with actionable insights
Conduct customer visits nationwide and present new products
Represent the company at major industry trade shows and customer events (Las Vegas, February & June shows)
Coordinate booth setup, product displays, and post-event follow-up
Collaborate with Marketing, Purchasing, and Operations on sales initiatives and product launches
Document meeting notes and action items within 48 hours
Required Qualifications
5+ years of automotive aftermarket sales experience (automotive lighting strongly preferred)
Proven experience managing or coordinating national sales rep agencies
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate sales data into strategy
Advanced proficiency in Excel, CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), and forecasting tools
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Willingness to travel 25–40% nationwide
Confident, self-motivated professional comfortable being the face of the company
