Job Description - automotive Aftermarket Salesperson



Robert Brogden’s Olathe Buick GMC is seeking an Aftermarket Salesperson to join its team. This position sells automotive accessories to dealership customers. This would be a great opportunity for individuals with excellent communication skills and automotive parts/accessories experience. Responsibilities:



  • Offer services and accessories to customers and provide them with an explanation of aftermarket products and a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies



  • Create and maintain excellent relationships with our customers. Resolve customer issues quickly and escalate to senior management as necessary. A high level of Customer Satisfaction is a very important aspect of this role.



  • Maintain strong knowledge of all aftermarket products available to consumers for each of our vehicle models.



  • Train and provide the sales team with information on available aftermarket opportunities offered by the dealership.



  • Responsible for Customer Service follow-up and appointments



  • Work with our Department Managers to ensure individual, and department sales goals are met



  • Strong organizational and scheduling ability to assure the work is completed on time for the customer.



  • Explain performance of the chosen accessory and its benefits to customers.


Requirements:



  • Automotive sales/aftermarket experience a plus



  • Excellent communication and customer service skills



  • Scheduling and coordinating the timely installation of aftermarket products on the customer’s vehicle



  • Must be able to efficiently use all company operating systems and equipment



  • Professional appearance required



  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. Must be able to pass a background check and pre-hire drug screening



  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
