DEALERSHIP PARTS DEPARTMENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Coulter Cadillac of Phoenix has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Automotive Assistant Parts Manager to join our award-winning dealership!

We are looking for a dealership-experienced professional with a strong background in managing and supporting a large domestic automotive parts department. The ideal candidate understands dealership parts operations, inventory management, wholesale and retail parts sales, and the importance of providing outstanding support to both internal and external customers.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Assistant Parts Manager will work closely with the Parts Manager to oversee daily department operations, support the parts team, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure efficient parts distribution throughout the dealership.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dealership parts professional who is ready to take the next step in their automotive career.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with managing daily dealership parts department operations.
  

• Support, train, and coordinate parts department personnel.
  

• Assist with inventory control, ordering, receiving, and stocking.
  

• Monitor inventory levels, parts availability, and special orders.
  

• Support wholesale and retail parts sales operations.
  

• Coordinate parts distribution with the service department, technicians, and internal departments.
  

• Maintain accurate inventory records and proper parts documentation.
  

• Help manage vendor relationships, returns, and warranty parts procedures.
  

• Monitor department performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  

• Help maintain an organized, efficient, and customer-focused parts department.
  

• Assist the Parts Manager with daily operational goals and department profitability.
  

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous automotive dealership parts department experience required.
  

• Experience working in a large domestic dealership parts department strongly preferred.
  

• Previous Assistant Parts Manager, Parts Manager, or senior dealership parts experience preferred.
  

• Strong understanding of dealership parts operations and inventory management.
  

• Knowledge of wholesale, retail, and internal parts sales.
  

• Experience with automotive parts ordering and inventory management systems.
  

• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced dealership environment.
  

• Commitment to customer service and supporting dealership operations.
  

Automotive dealership experience is required. This opportunity is not intended for candidates without dealership parts experience.
