Job Description - Automotive Assistant Payroll Manager

Toyota of Boerne is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing support in various financial functions.

This role requires a strong understanding of dealership payroll management, automotive accounting, and financial concepts, along with proficiency in Excel and other relevant software tools.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process payroll for employees
  • Process time and attendance, time cards, and payroll checks
  • Maintain accurate records of all payroll transactions and procedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management
  • Ensure compliance with all Toyota of Boerne policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide support to management in any area of employment law issues.
  • Dealership payroll experience is a MAJOR plus!

Experience

  • 3+ years of dealership payroll experience preferred. (or experience in a related field.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. (or proficiency in accounting software.)
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Strong analytical skills required. (preferably General ledger or similar system.)
