Automotive Body Technician Apprentice

Description

RiverCenter Collision seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Body Technician Apprentice to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in the automotive repair industry. The apprentice will work under the guidance of experienced technicians to learn the skills necessary for repairing and restoring vehicle bodies. A certificate of completion of formal auto body training is welcomed but not required.

• $16.00 to $18.00 Per Hour (experience-based)
• 40 Hour Work Week
• Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5 PM NO WEEKENDS

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the repair and replacement of damaged vehicle body parts
• Learn to use various tools and equipment for bodywork, including welding and painting tools
• Support the team in assessing vehicle damage and determining repair needs
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Participate in training sessions to develop technical skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong interest in automotive repair and bodywork
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians
• Possess a driver's license with a driving record allowing you to drive guest and company vehicles
