Job Description - Automotive Cashier

  • Hours are Tuesday thru Friday, 7am - 4pm, Saturday 7am - 3pm

Responsibilities:



  • Apply hospitality skills and warmly welcome guests

  • Engage and understand guests' needs while delivering an effortless Guest Experience

  • Compute or re-compute final bills for accuracy using required dealership software

  • Receive and issue receipts for cash, checks and credit card payments

  • Record amounts received in the computer and secure monies in the register drawer

  • Coordinate vehicle pick ups with Guest Service Assistants

  • Ensure all service records are filed promptly and accurately

  • Work with department managers to stay abreast of new products and services offered, their features and value, and any changes in price

  • Refer guests who have additional questions (e.g., questions about their repair order) to the service advisor or other appropriate individual

  • Resolve guest concerns with integrity and poise 


Qualifications



  • High school diploma or the equivalent

  • Minimum of 2 years of face-to-face customer service experience 

  • Ability to type and utilize all functions of a computer and various operating programs

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail

  • Available to work a full-time five-day work week, with some flexibility with the hours adjusting based on the needs of the business

  • Prepared to work extended hours, when necessary, to achieve goals

  • Team oriented, flexible, and committed to setting the standard in delivering an effortless guest experience

  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and subsequent random drug screens
