About the Role:

The Cashier/Receptionist at Mullinax Ford of New Smyrna plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless customer experience at our auto dealership. This position is responsible for managing transactions, greeting customers, and providing essential information about our services and vehicles. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for customers, setting a positive tone for their visit and ensuring their needs are met efficiently. Additionally, this role involves maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with administrative tasks to support the dealership's operations. Ultimately, the Cashier/Receptionist contributes to the dealership's reputation for excellent customer service and operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Previous experience in a cashier or receptionist role, preferably in an automotive or retail environment.


• Strong numerical and cash handling skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with dealership management software or point-of-sale systems.


• Customer service training or certification.


• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding services and vehicle sales.


• Process customer transactions accurately, including cash, credit, and financing options.


• Maintain an organized and efficient reception area, ensuring all customer interactions are handled professionally.


• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, and maintaining customer records.


• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of information and enhance the overall customer experience.
