Key Responsibilities
- Manage the lifecycle of automotive sales and lease contracts, including review, processing, funding, and execution
- Review contractual documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with California DMV regulations and lender requirements
- Submit deals to financial institutions and follow up to ensure timely funding
- Maintain organized records of contracts, amendments, and related documentation for audit readiness
- Coordinate vendor relationships and support procurement activities when needed
- Utilize electronic signature tools (e.g., DocuSign) and dealership management/ERP systems
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in contract paperwork
- Collaborate with Finance Managers, Sales Managers, Accounting, and external partners
- Support business operations through reporting, document preparation, and administrative functions
- Ensure adherence to applicable legal standards, including UCC guidelines and dealership compliance policies
Requirements
- Previous automotive dealership contract clerk or funding experience preferred
- Proven experience in contract administration, procurement, or vendor management
- Strong understanding of dealership paperwork, compliance processes, and funding procedures
- Knowledge of contract review standards and regulatory compliance
- Experience with dealership management systems (CDK experience a plus)
- Familiarity with document management systems and electronic signature platforms such as DocuSign
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
