Automotive Dealership Accountant

Job Summary:  

Wolfchase Hyundai is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented dealership accountant to join our team in Memphis, TN.  This person will be responsible for general accounting and administrative office functions as well as supporting other dealership staff in delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Ensure all daily bank transactions are posted to the ledger.


• Prepare and process dealer trades and inter-company vehicle transfers


• Perform weekly schedule reviews to ensure ledger accounts are accurate


• Prepare bank payoff checks for trade-ins and follow-up on lien releases


• Manage the dealership’s vehicle floor plan account.


• Assist with customer inquiries, resolving any administrative-related issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications:  

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Previous experience in an automotive dealership preferred


• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service-oriented approach.
