Job Summary:
We are seeking an Automotive Diagnostic and Repair Technician to join our service team. This role is ideal for technicians with hands-on experience who are eager to continue learning and advancing in a supportive, high-performing environment. You will work on a variety of vehicles, including Chevrolet and all other brands, performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs while contributing to our positive, team-focused culture. Pay is hourly plus bonus opportunity.
Essential Duties:
- Perform general vehicle maintenance and repairs, including brakes, air conditioning, cooling systems, fluid checks, and leak repairs
- Diagnose and repair vehicle components; Level 2 Technicians may perform more advanced diagnostics with occasional assistance
- Assist in routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, battery installations, and multi-point inspections
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
- Follow dealership and manufacturer guidelines and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and time spent
- Continuously learn through on-the-job training and factory resources
- Mentor or assist less-experienced team members as needed
- Other duties as assigned by management
Skills and Abilities:
- Previous automotive service experience preferred (general repair, quick lube, or similar)
- Completion of some GM or ASE training/certification preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies and repair procedures
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and collaborative mindset
- Customer-focused with a friendly, professional demeanor
