Automotive Diesel/Gas Technician

Russell Barnett Ford of Tullahoma is seeking a highly-driven Diesel/Gas Technician to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and services on Ford diesel/gas vehicles according to manufacturer specifications along with other makes.
-  Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical issues with Ford diesel/gas vehicles.
-  Perform complex repairs, including engine overhauls, transmission replacements and other major repairs.
-  Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and identify issues with vehicle systems.
-  Keep accurate and detailed records of all services performed and parts used.
-  Communicate with Service Advisors and Customers to explain repairs and services needed.
-  Stay up-to-date with new technology, procedures and techniques to maintain and enhance technical proficiency.
-  Maintain a clean and organized work area.
-  Willing to keep training with Ford and going to classes.

What You'll Bring:
-  Ford Diesel/Gas Certification required
-  Hold a valid driver's license.
-  Team oriented, flexible, high energy and focused on maintaining a high level of Customer Service.
-  Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
-  Vocational/Technical or certification preferred.
-  Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, arms to handle, feel, reach, speak, hear, use close vision abilities and operate a vehicle with a valid driver's license.
-  Occasionally required to lift or move up to 50lbsm stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
-  Noise level: low to moderate.
