Freeway Chevrolet is looking for an Express Technician to perform routine vehicle maintenance services to help our customers keep their vehicles running optimally. This an excellent opportunity for entry-level technicians or recent automotive program graduates to jumpstart their career in the automotive industry. Core Responsibilities:

• Perform oil changes and install new oil filters and drain plugs.


• Check and replenish vehicle fluids.


• Check and replace batteries as needed.


• Rotate, mount and balance tires according to vehicle specifications.


• Complete minor services such as replacing filters, wiper blades, etc.


• Perform multi-point inspections, taking detailed notes of vehicle condition and recommended maintenance for the Service Advisor to communicate to the customer.


• Maintain a clean, safe workstation.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience performing oil changes, basic maintenance, or minor repair work is preferred.


• ASE certifications and/or formal training from a technical school is ideal.


• Eager to learn dealership best practices and strengthen mechanical knowledge and skills.


• Thorough workmanship and strong attention to detail.


• Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license.


• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Hours and Work Environment:

We offer a 4-day workweek with hours between 7am and 6pm on weekdays and 7am and 4pm on Saturdays. We are proud to offer a state-of-the-art, air-conditioned shop, a productive work environment, and opportunities for career advancement.
