Automotive Internal Service Advisor (Exp Required)- McCarthy Chevrolet

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Internal Service Advisor to join our team at McCarthy Chevrolet- Olathe. This role acts as a liaison between our service technicians and internal departments, ensuring efficient communication and workflow. You will coordinate internal repair orders, oversee vehicle maintenance scheduling, and help streamline service operations. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate service and repair needs for internal departments, including sales and fleet operations.


• Generate and track internal repair orders (ROs) for dealership-owned vehicles.


• Communicate effectively with service technicians, parts department, and management to ensure timely vehicle readiness.


• Ensure warranty and policy guidelines are followed for internal service requests.


• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.


• Assist in parts procurement and availability for internal vehicle repairs.


• Monitor vehicle turnaround times and prioritize repairs as needed.


• Provide reports on service progress, costs, and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an automotive service advisor or coordinator role preferred.


• Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and dealership operations.


• Excellent communication and organizational skills.


• Proficiency in dealership management systems (DMS) and service software preferred.


• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
