Larson Volkswagen is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our elite service department. This role is ideal for a proven professional with expertise in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems. We are looking for a technician who is detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to delivering top-tier workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform complex diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs across all vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC.
• Execute precise repairs in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and technology to troubleshoot and resolve vehicle issues efficiently.
• Conduct thorough road tests to ensure repair accuracy and vehicle performance.
• Work closely with Service Advisors to provide timely updates, repair recommendations, and cost estimates.
• Complete manufacturer warranty repairs following required procedures and guidelines.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a high-level automotive technician with a strong background in diagnostics and repair.
• ASE certifications and/or manufacturer-specific training preferred.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Time Off & Holidays

Paid Time Off (PTO):

                           10+ years: 2.30 hours per 40 hours worked

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Strong automotive background
• Strong teamwork skills
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
• Must have a clean and valid driver’s license.
