We currently have openings for experienced Lead Automotive Technicians in the San Mateo and Bay Area markets. Our Automotive Lead mechanics must be self-starters, self-motivated and have the ability to work in a team atmosphere & learn new tasks.

Candidates should have excellent communication ,time management skills and ASE. Certifications in all related Automotive Service Fields is a plus.

Job Responsibilities of Lead Automotive Technician:

Proven Diagnostic skills and able to repair to Mfgs specifications – brake, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.

Communicates technical diagnoses and needed repairs, which will include employees and customers on an as-required basis.

Ongoing training with new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.

Interface with store management on mechanical repair issues as they occur.

Maintains a safe, organized neat and service area.

Assisting all technician mechanics in performing technical activities.

Qualifications:

Performs Courtesy Checks, Complete Vehicle Inspections and Diagnosis of Tire, Brakes, Steering and Suspension, and General Repairs.

Proficient in all Phases of Tire Mounting, Repair, Balancing, and TPMS systems

Accurately Diagnoses and Repairs Air Conditioning Problems

Accurately Diagnoses and Repairs Cooling System Problems

Accurately Diagnoses and Repairs Battery, Starting, and Charging System Problems

Accurately Diagnoses and Repairs Engine Performance problem

Preferred ASEs in Brakes, Steering and Suspension and Electrical and Electronic Systems, Air Conditioning and Engine Performance
