Automotive LOF Technician

Sponsler - Donley Ford of Ashland is looking for a Lube, Oil, Filter Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and changing oil in customer and company vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Check oil levels and communicate to teammates


• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation


• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary


• Complete vehicle inspection


• Install new oil drain plugs and new oil filters


• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed


• Provide excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customers’ perspective comes first


• Present a friendly, professional greeting to customers and help identify, confirm and offer a resolution to customer concerns

Requirements:

• Communication skills – communicate effectively with others


• Time management – manage one’s own time and time of others


• Typing skills – ability to type efficiently in order to enter repair orders


• Mathematical skills – calculating service costs and counting change


• Basic computer skills


• Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction


• Personal and professional integrity
