Automotive Lot Porter

Capital Ford Charlotte is looking for an Automotive Lot Porter. We’re a high-traffic dealership looking for someone who takes pride in keeping things organized and looking sharp. You’ll play a big part in making sure our lot is customer-ready at all times, while working alongside a busy, supportive team. If you like staying on your feet, enjoy a fast-moving day, and want an opportunity to grow within the automotive world, this is a great place to start.

 Automotive Lot Attendant Responsibilities: 

• Ensure the proper organization and placement of vehicles on the dealership lot


• Collaborate with the sales and service teams to arrange vehicles based on make, model, and other relevant criteria


• Perform regular inspections for debris, litter, and other items that may impact the overall appearance


• Ensure that each vehicle is properly staged, including adjusting mirrors, seats, and other settings


• Work closely with the inventory management team to update records and reconcile discrepancies


• Collaborate with sales, service, and other departments to ensure efficient lot operations


• All other duties assigned  

Automotive Lot Attendant Requirements:  

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an automotive dealership 


• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of organization


• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions


• Strong communication and customer service skills


• Physical fitness for tasks such as walking, standing, and occasionally lifting objects


• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record


• Must pass pre-employment background screenings
